Beyond leading the technology in Ultrasound in NDT field (Aerospace, nuclear and power generation…), AOS/TPAC (Advanced OEM Solution/The Phased Array Company) has developed the most advanced, open, versatile and OEM available platform. This technology has been evaluated as top of the market in medical research too. Our platform is fully open, scalable beyond 1024 channels, and outperforms current market offerings, providing a strong competitive advantage.

From there, successful collaboration with world-class academic labs (e.g. LabCom “Image4US” project initiated between Creatis (https://www.creatis.insa-lyon.fr) have brought the need to develop a business-oriented research for medical.

Given the growing opportunities in medical research, we are seeking an entrepreneur spirit person to lead a new spin-off company. This person will be responsible for managing the company and driving business development.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, with or without significant experience, to develop the growth of this new entity.

AOS/TPAC will provide mentorship and guidance as you work to develop the company. The technical foundation will be based on the existing hardware modules from AOS/TPAC.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Securing funding to support business growth during the initial years.

• Building a team to commercial expansion, marketing and support technical development.

• Leading the business development efforts in medical imaging, focusing on academic labs and related spinoffs.

This position is an exciting challenge to practically develop a new activity based on ultrasound. Location is not an issue, for technical aspect, in the beginning, many trips to Nantes and Lyon (France) are expected.

Description du profil

The preferred candidate should have:

• Soft and hard skills reinforcing the commercial, financial and RH start up spirit managements, supported by mentorship from experienced AOS/TPAC leaders.

• Technical knowledge in ultrasound, electronics, and signal processing.

• Significant experience in exposure to the academic world of ultrasound.
